Pumpkin Patch

The government shutdown began at midnight on October 1st and Robert has been on unpaid leave ever since.  We are trying to relax and just enjoy the extra time we have with him.  Ryker is on fall break right now too so we are enjoying lots of quality family time.  Today we headed to the Waterman's for the pumpkin patch, etc.

The petting zoo area is always a hit.

Cam liked the goats quite a bit.

This year they had a wide assortment of more exotic animals like this kangaroo. So cute!  They had rabbits, porcupines, and some other animals I had never heard of or seen before.  Very cool!

The donkey was a crowd favorite.

Camden is a total Daddy's boy.

Getting ready to do the hardest corn maze.

It was a lot of fun with questions about corn posted along the way.  Each answer led to a different path.  There were lots of scarecrows, etc too.  We had to take Robert and Camden's picture by their look-alikes.

Even though I've had suspicions that these two are allergic to hay I let them play on the giant hay mound for a bit.  (It's hard to stay clear of it completely this time of year.)

We tried all day to get a good picture of me with the boys.  It just wasn't meant to be.  At least Ryker and I look good, right!??!

It's hard to tell from this picture, but Camden LOVED "driving" this tractor.

I think I have a picture of Ryker doing this every year since he was 1.  Fond memories of this place over the years already.

Camden had to copy his big bro of course.

Me and the hubs popping a squat while the boys played.

Time for the hay ride.  Ryker was so excited!

These two posed like this all on their own.  They crack me up!

We buried Ryker on the way back.  All the passengers thought it was hilarious.
