Small Group Christmas Party

Tonight was our Christmas party with our small group.  This is our second year with this group and we love them all dearly.
We played some great games.  First each couple was given a piece of construction paper and had to turn their backs to each other.  Each member had to keep both hands on the paper at all times and one person had to tear their paper to make it look like a certain object.  First up, was a Christmas tree.  Sadly, the McCollister's were eliminated first.  hehe

I did the tearing first round and was pretty impressed with myself.

Next up, was a reindeer.  Robert's looked a bit more like the donkey from Shrek, but we made it to the next round.

Jamie and Austin's reindeer was a bit bull-ish, but they advanced to the finals with us.  The final challenge was an elf and they won. Somehow I didn't get pics of our elves. :-(

We did a white elephant gift exchange.  Each couple brought a $10-$15 gift and one gag gift (like something they just had around the house).  The gifts were equally great and hilarious.  We ended up with an awesome new throw blanket and another, more, shall we say, interesting gifts.  I'll just leave it at that and see if you can tell what it was from the picture.

All the ladies with their gifts at the end of the exchange.

The dudes
