We went to church last night so we could spend the day at the lake today. We headed out in the morning and went straight to the boat. The big boys went tubing first and then Amelia and Camden wanted a turn. Cam has been plenty of times, but Amelia has never agreed to try it. We were going super slow and all of a sudden (I think because we were so slow) the front of the tube started going down into the water. Amelia wasn't holding on tight enough (or at all??) and slid right into the water. I was holding Riella and Clint was driving, but Amber and Robert both dove right in and rescued her. She had popped up quickly too since she obviously had on her puddle jumper. Thankfully, Camden never let go and was perfectly fine (albeit, concerned for Amelia and a bit freaked out). We decided after that, we were done with the boat for the day! Yeesh!
We lazed around in the water and then had lunch before beginning an all-hands-on-deck kickball game. So much fun!
Riella was happy to be our little cheerleader.
Then it was back in the water for some floating.
So thankful for Amber and the friendship we've built.
Cam loved shooting hoops with this set. The bigger boys had fun jumping off and doing slam dunks.
This was the most action Big Mable saw the rest of the day!
Sister Bear got sleepy and fell asleep after I nursed her.
She laid in the shade and took a nice nap. I even got some reading done!!
We got the fishing poles out and let Ryker fish. First cast and he reeled in this baby catfish. It was the only catch of the day.
They both loved fishing! I was surprised at how patient he was!
It was a bit of a scary start to our day, but the rest was absolutely wonderful!
