One with Nature

If there is one thing I can say my boys share in common (besides a mother and father :-)), it would be their love of the outdoors.  They are different in almost everyway, but they absolutely LOVE to be outside.  They both love animals and all things nature.  Tonight, after dinner, while Robert was busy painting, we went for a walk/bike ride.  I walked with Cam in the stroller and Ryker rode his bike.  We are fortunate to have both cows and horses nearby.  We headed to the horses first.  They were all out in the pastures and one group was particularly friendly and came right up to us.
Ryker was so excited when they came up.  They ate grass right out of our hands.

Camden was slightly more timid and watched his big brother for a bit before diving in.

He loved hearing their noises and mimicking them.

He was much more into blowing them kisses before I started taping, but I did get one on camera at least!

We stopped and saw the cows on the way back home.  Cam loves these cows and yells, "Moo!" every time we pass.  Which is often, since they are on the corner right by our house.

After we got home, Ryker caught a butterly and put his new bug jar to good use by putting it in there.

He added some sticks and leaves to make him feel more at home then decided to do a science journal entry all about it.  I helped him sond out butterfly and he wrote it down and we drew a picture together.  He even added some dots later.  Love this little Science and Nature Love of mine!
