Last Day

Camden had developed a bit of a rash from the sand yesterday, so opted to spend our time at the pool.  Tonight was Robert and I's turn for a date.  We left the boys with Tom and Anna and stopped for dinner at a small sushi restaurant.  I just ate the veggie rolls and some tempura ones, but it was delicious!  We went down to John's Pass again for some shopping even though it was raining...again.  I got a t-shirt and Robert finally found a fedora he liked.  It was a successful evening.

We stopped at a place called The Candy Kitchen for dessert.  I got the peanut butter filled banana dipped in chocolate with peanuts on top.  It was delicious, but very rich.  I didn't finish it despite my best efforts.  Robert's berry ice cream was quite yummy too!

 

Unfortunately, the weather reports started looking REALLY bad for the next couple of days.  They were calling for tropical storms and tornadoes and constant rain for Thursday and Friday.  We decided to head home the next morning instead of trying to keep 5 kids entertained through bad storms for two days.  We packed up and headed home the next day.  The kids did great on the ride home and we got in around 2:15 in the morning.  It was great to get home and sleep in our own bed again!
