Park with the Aunts

We visited Aunt Cara today at her house to see how baby Jaxson's nursery was coming along.  Aunt Chelle came along and we all took a walk to their neighborhood park and let the kids play before returning for a quick lunch.
All ready to go!

They were crazy on this seesaw.  Wild boys!

Riella fell asleep on our walk and slept almost the entire time we were playing.

They love each other!

Tuesdays with the Spangler's

Camden and I started the day off by dropping by the preschool to get registration papers for next year and let him see the class and meet the teacher.  He took a bit to relax and warm up, but once he did he was right there in the mix with the other kids having fun.  We finished up there earlier than expected and ran to the grocery store and home to unload before grabbing sandwiches from Jimmy John's and going to Michelle's.  We decided to do a T25 workout before lunch.  But with two babies and two toddlers, it took a while to get things going.  We did manage to get it done though!
I accidentally dressed Riella and I in matching outfits.  Ashton matched too!

All of our little munchkins.

The babies!

Me and my smiley girl!

Weekend of the Farm 2.0

We spent another fun weekend on my brother's farm in Kentucky this weekend.
We picked up Ryker from school and hit the road.

To say the kids were excited to see each other was an understatement.

Super Uncle!

In the morning, it was time for the barn!  Ryker and Cam couldn't wait to get out there.

David just got two new bottle fed calves.  The boys loved mixing up their formula and feeding them.  They full and tug so hard, it's hard work holding them in the right position and keeping them from stealing it.

Camden did a great job for his first time.

Cousins and cows.

Riella loved taking in all the action too.

David got the 4 wheeler out to take the kids for rides. They loved it!

The scenery is so beautiful!

This kid is in heaven down there.

This one loves his mama these days and says, "Carry!" a lot, which basically means he wants you to hold him.  He's rotten, but awful sweet too.

Robert and Ryker enjoyed a long ride on the 4 wheeler before coming in for lunch.

After lunch we headed to the park so Robert could get his 18 mile training run in.  The boys were eager to help give him water when he needed it. :-)

These two enjoyed their first time in the swings together.  So much fun!

Their park is so nice with two separate playgrounds and a huge pond and small golf course.  The kids played and played while Robert ran.

With only a few laps left, Kate stayed with the napping babies and I took the boys to feed the ducks.

Robert let Ryker run the last lap with him.  He thinks his daddy is so cool.  It's pretty sweet.

I enjoyed swinging with Cam and Hudson instead.

Afterwards we headed into town for some frozen yogurt.  Yum!

David hung Hudson's new tire swing while we were gone.  All of the kids were eager to try it out.

I got to feed this little man and get a little bonding time in.  He is so handsome!

Uncle Robert got some great cuddle time in with Hudson while we watched Frozen before bed.

Meanwhile, my boys cuddled up with Uncle Dave.

Sunday morning, it was back to the barn first thing.

The weather was so nice today.  David was to the left in the pasture putting out feed and calling the cows in.  It was fun to watch them coming in.  Some of them ran down the hill.  The kids loved it.

Cam got in a long ride on the 4 Wheeler today.

We had a quick lunch and get packed up and followed Kate and the boys up to Florence, KY to check out one of her favorite shops.  I was hoping to find a rug for our family room but didn't have any luck.

All the kids were asleep when we got there so Robert stayed in the van with them.  They woke up while I was inside and Riella was restless in her seat so when I came back out, Robert was sitting on the folded down seats in the back entertaining the kids.  He's so cute. :-)

It was another great weekend.  Ryker said he wishes he could live there.  The boys love life on the farm that's for sure!

5 Months!

Riella Joan is 5 months old today!
She celebrated in a big way by rolling over from back to belly for the first time.  I put her down to play in her room as I was packing for our trip to Kentucky.  I went into my room to grab a few things and came back in to see her like this.  Stinker did it in secret! Once she discovered she could do she kept rolling back and forth.  It was too cute!

She is still wearing mostly 6 month clothes with some 9 month and a few 12 month tops thrown in.  She is still running long and lean, much leaner than either of the boys were by a long shot. She's nursing 4-5 times a day still.  She's sleeping great in her crib every night for 12-12.5 hours and taking two long naps and maybe one catnap a day when we are home.  Days we are running around are different, but she is very adaptable and never gets fussy even if she misses a nap.

She discovered her feet this month too.  She loves playing with them and eating them.  She loves to talk and jabber all the time. She is still one of the smiliest babies I've ever known.  She is so easy to get to smile and she does it all the time.  Her smile is contagious too.  Hard to look at her grin and not start smiling too.

She loves her big brothers and they love her like crazy.  They dote on her constantly and are such big helpers with her.

She is such a happy, content baby and we are so blessed to have her in our family.

Tuesday with the Spangler's

Now that Michelle is working part time twice a week she has more time in her schedule for fun days with us and the kids.  We've decided to make Tuesdays our day to have play dates, etc.  This week we chose the zoo since the weather was looking sunny and decent temperatures.
Nathan and Cam are such good buds.

The tiger was very active and very close today.  He kept pacing back and forth by the glass.

This dude stole my shades!

Hanging with the zebras.  Riella was trying to fall asleep.

Riella peed everywhere during a diaper change and had to get a new outfit.  This I <3 Auntie onesie was in the diaper bag.  We thought it was a happy coincidence and decided to snap a pic of her with one of her aunties.
