John's Pass

After our day of fun in the sun we came in to shower and let the kids rest.  Robert and the boys crashed on the bed together for a bit and we finally got everyone up and moving again and headed down to Madeira Beach area and a little outdoor shopping mall called John's Pass.  We ate at a seafood restaurant there.  Camden wasn't very cooperative while we waited so I ended up outside on the boardwalk with him listening to the band downstairs.  It started raining after dinner so we ducked in and out of a few shops before heading back to the condo for the night.

Full Day of Sun

Today was our best weather-wise and we soaked it up!  First, we headed to the beach.

Robert forgot his sunglasses in the condo so he decided to wear Ryker's

It was so calm and peaceful today.

Camden enjoyed splashing with Daddy

So did these two beach buddies.

Cam's favorite thing was to get buckets of water from the ocean and fill them with sand.  Kept him happy and entertained.

See what I mean?? I love to just sit and read on the beach so this was great in my opinion.

Then, it was off to the pool.  We had lunch outside and then swam.  Camden is obsessed with jumping in the water!

First Day

One of our last stops before we arrived at our final destination: Indian Shores!

While the adults unloaded and got settled in, these two played together.

Ahh...the ocean!  Yay!

 

We arrived around 11:30 and after getting cleaned up a bit, headed out for lunch and the grocery store.  After that, Anna and I got the kids beach ready and took them over.  Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working in the condo and Robert was busy dealing with that.  Thankfully, we got it up and going by the end of the day and it was great the rest of the time!

I was busy playing with Cam in the ocean, but did manage to get this sweet shot of Ryker as he enjoyed the ocean.  He seriously couldn't get enough of the waves and the beach!  Cam took a minute to warm up to it, but after a bit, he was giggling and kicking his legs and just eating it up!

Florida or Bust!

We loaded up our van, met our friends, the McCollister's and started on our 16 hour drive to Florida today.  We departed at 5:08 PM.

All packed up and ready to go!

They were excited!

They both did really well.  This was a brief period around Louisville that Camden's paci had dropped to the opposite side of the van and Robert wouldn't let me unbuckle to get it.  After about 15-20 minutes of this, he gave in, and...

all was right with the world. Car=need for paci to this boy!

We stopped at a gas station/McD's combo to fuel up and get some dinner. 

It wasn't too long before we had two sleeping babes.

This was around 3:30 am when Robert was kindly getting all the bugs off the windshield before I started driving again. 

 

 

 

16 Week Appointment

Today was my 16 week appointment.  I took both of the boys with me which made for an interesting time.  Ryker is Mr. Curious when it comes to medical stuff.  Thankfully, the nurse practictioner I saw today (and love) was super patient and allowed himt o ask all his questions and talk her ear off.  Camden was a bit of a Mama's boy and was attached to my hip.  He sat on my lap the entire time even when she checked the baby's heartrate. 

Blood Pressure: 100/62

Weight: 2 lbs. gained

Heartrate: 150s

 

We scheduled our next appointment which includes the big ultrasound that should reveal gender for June 21st.  I can't wait to see this little one again and start planning!  

Mall Fun

We had lots of errands to run today to get ready for Florida.  We met up with Auntie Em, Kainen, and Piper at the mall for lunch and some shopping.  The boys had a great time!
