Happy 1st Birthday Warren!

Today was Warren's first birthday party.  It was a great day and a wonderful party to celebrate my cousin's little guy.  He had a sock monkey party and everything was so cute!

We were having fun with hats on our way out the door for the party.
As with most 1-year-olds, his favorite part of opening gifts was playing with the wrapping.

Camden had a great time playing in the back yard.

So did these boys. Garyn, Carter, and Ryker are buds!

Ryker was collecting worms....nothing new there!

It took him so coaxing at first, but he got pretty into his cake after a bit.

Ryker like Warren's party hat. ;-)

#3

That's right, we are expecting Baby #3!!!

I am over 15 weeks now and things are looking great.  We are due November 11th.

We've had two appointments, both with ultrasounds, and everything is developing great and the baby is looking very healthy (even measuring ahead, just like its big brothers did).

1st Appt: April 1st- 8 weeks; Ultrasound measured baby at 8 weeks 3 days; Heartrate 179 bpm
2nd Appt: April 26th- 11 weeks 4 days; Ultrasound measured baby at 12 weeks 3 days; Heartrate 166 bpm

To rewind, we found out back at the beginning of March.  In an effort to live up to my end of an agreement with my friend Jenn, I promised to tell Robert in a fun way.  We were trying and I had been feeling extra tired (and cranky) so I thought I'd take a test.  Robert knew I was taking it so I just told him it was negative and we went about our evening with the boys like normal.  After they went to bed, however, I had a surprise planned.  I set the timer on the oven and got up to fold laundry (which is on the other side of kitchen) and when the timer went off I yelled for him to come get it.  That's when he opened the oven door and saw this...
In my shock over a positive test, I miscalculated my due date by a week...oops!
I tried to snap one of him as he opened it...

He was surprised and pretty excited too! ;-)

We are thrilled to be expecting another little miracle and can't wait to welcome him or her in November.  :-)

SSMT: Verse 10

‘If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump.” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing.’
-1 Corinthians 13:2 MSG

Preschool Picnic

Today was Ryker's preschool picnic.  They invite all the classes and families to a pitch-in picnic at the school.  We had great weather and the kids had a blast.
The Buck Creek Township firefighters bring a truck and let the kids check it out.  Ryker thought it was pretty cool.

This year, some policemen even stopped by.  Lately, Ryker has said he no longer wants to be a vet, but a police officer so this was pretty cool for him.

Handsome boy!

Camden was playing peek-a-boo with me. :-)

This maze is in the back lot of the church.  It's pretty neat and the boys loved running around it.

Then it was time for the big water balloon fight.  The kids all chase each other and their teachers around and blast them with water balloons.

Ryker and Jonah were after each other!

They all kept running back to the totes to get more!

One of the firefighters even got in on the action and Cooper and Ryker were after him.  Cooper blasted him right on the butt eventually.  It was too funny!

I can't express how truly grateful we've been for the experience we've had at Weekday Preschool.  The staff has been so kind, loving, and understanding.  They made Ryker feel right at home.  As we were leaving Mrs. Steele got me all choked up as she was hugging Ryker goodbye.  She even asked me to text her from time to time and let her know how Ryker is doing in Kindergarten!  We sure will miss this place, but we'll be back when it's Camden's turn. :-)

Zoo Day with Nana

Nana called yesterday afternoon to say she had decided to take today off and wanted to know if we wanted to go to the zoo.  We met up late this morning with her, Aunt Kate, and Hudson and headed to the zoo.  We arrived just in time for all the school buses to load up with their kids and leave....yahoo!

The sea lions were barking loudly when we arrived and Camden was immediately enthralled.  He was making the same noise back at them.  It was cracking me up!

Aunt Kate helping them get a better view of the penguins.

Camden was SO into the animals, he was not about to pay attention for a picture!

Kate and Hudson

Enjoying the birds in the Flights of Fancy exhibit.

Three little men in a row...

Cam is such a ham. :-)

Racing the cheetahs.  He really is getting faster and faster all the time.

Seriously, these 3 are adorable!

Nana treated them to a ride on the carousel before we headed home.

Ryker was wimping out on us on the way out, so I put him on top of the stroller to hitch a ride.  He and Hudson got a major kick out of it!

Last Day of Pre-K

Today was Ryker's last official day of preschool!  They had a Fun Day with games and dancing, etc.  They asked for some volunteers so I offered to help out.

Here is he, all ready for his last day!

One of the parent helpers made these signs and arranged the kids to hold them all up.  It said "Thanks, we love you"  It was too sweet!

They celebrated all the summer birthdays during snack time.

He loved getting sang to. :-)

Ryker and Cooper enjoyed cutting a rug during dance time

Mrs. Moody is retiring after this year.  The kids gave her a big hug to wish her well.

These two are buddies!

They make some great silly faces!

What a difference a school year makes!  Left: 1st Day Right: Last Day

Mother's Day

Robert got up early and went to get me donuts for breakfast.  We got ready for church and enjoyed our breakfast before heading out the door.  We came home and changed clothes and headed out shortly thereafter to go help the family do some landscaping at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  They have a wooded lot out back that the kids had a blast in!
They worked on building a fort out of huge tree limbs.  Ryker was excited to show it off to me.

Garyn was working hard.

So was Carter.

Ashlyn, Garyn, Ryker, and Carter were so proud of their creation!

These kiddos are a hoot and play so well together!
